Implementing the breakthrough program on sustainable tourism and service development for the 2021–2025 period, in the first nine months of the year, the province focused on improving product quality, promoting tourism marketing, launching stimulus programs, and developing community-based tourism. At the same time, attention was given to digital transformation efforts, aiming to digitize tourism data, apply technology, and enhance tourism management efficiency. The province also strengthened cooperation and cross-border tourism connections, proposing solutions to simplify immigration procedures for international visitors. A highlight of these efforts was the opening of the Cao Bang City (Vietnam) - Baise City (China) tourism route, creating opportunities to foster cultural exchange and bilateral tourism development between the two countries.
Efforts in infrastructure development, technology application, and community awareness raising have brought possitive results for Cao Bang’s tourism industry. The sharp rise in visitor numbers clearly demonstrates the province’s growing potential and appeal. In the coming time, Cao Bang will continue to harness its natural resources and unique cultural identity while promoting digital transformation to enhance the visitor experience, aiming to transform Cao Bang into a friendly, attractive destination and establish tourism as a sperherd economic sector of the province.
