Capacity building for students of the "Geopark Ambassador" clubs volunteering for the 8th Asia Pacific Geoparks Network (APGN) Symposium

The training was attended by representatives of the Division of Secondary Education (Department of Education and Training) who are the members of the Subcommittee for Reception, Logistics, and Ceremony of the 8^th APGN Symposium; representatives of the Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board, 43 students, 10 English teachers and teachers in charge of the "Geopark Ambassador" clubs from secondary and high schools in the Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark territory.

The training workshop provided information, skills and instructions on performing tasks for students of the "Geopark Ambassador" clubs to participate in the 8^th APGN Symposium; preparing the "Geopark Ambassador Club" booth; bilingual English-Vietnamese presentation contents.

At the training workshop, the students were guided to summarize a presentation introducing the Geopark popularization and education activities in schools; and a presentation introducing the activities that they implemented at the heritage sites in the Geopark territories; practiced introducing the booth promoting the "Geopark Ambassador Club" model; developed ideas and assigned tasks for composing wall newspapers and paintings; brainstormed situational questions that can be asked at the booth and after delivering their presentations at the scientific sessions at the 8^th APGN Symposium. The training workshop aims to ensure the implementation of content related to the "Geopark Ambassador Club" booth and the skills and capacity of students who are volunteers for the 8^th APGN Symposium.
