Environmental protection education is associated with sustainable development through the Geopark Ambassador Club’s school activities.

Environmental protection education and propaganda are regularly deployed by schools through "small plans" movements and waste classification, especially after establishing the Geopark Ambassador Club model. The movement is promoted through the "Environmental Protection Initiative" contest, experiential activities combined with responses to events like Earth Day (April 22); World Environment Day (June 5); Make the World Cleaner Campaign… In particular, schools regularly organize environmental cleaning campaigns at Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark heritage sites.

Recently, at the 2023 - 2024 school year-end, the Geopark Ambassador Club of Noi Thon High School and Secondary School, Ha Quang, organized an environment campaign with collect waste and clean information signs actions, poster check-in, plant flowers to create landscape at the Lung Luong Ammonity heritage site near the school area. In addition, through this activity, students also learned and shared information about ammonite fossils and geological values ​​in the area...

In the next school year 2024 - 2025, Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board  will coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to promote environmental protection educational activities associated with the goal of sustainable development. Especially schools near heritage sites will coordinate with local authorities to managing, promoting and organizing activities to clean up the environment, protect the landscape at heritage sites in their Geopark area.
