Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark actively uphold events of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network

In 2024, Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark actively participated in activities and responds to GGN events: Attending the Geopark Development Forum in the UNESCO Global Geopark Network in the Asia-Pacific region at Hong Kong Geopark, China (May 12-19, 2024); Organizing activities to celebrate the 5th Asia-Pacific Geopark Week; Responding to events: International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (October 13) in 2024, International Day for Geodiversity (October 6), International Mountain Day (December 11)... At the same time, strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences with members of the Network on conservation and promotion of the value of the UNESCO Global Geopark title.

In particular, the event in response to International Mountain Day 2024 (December 11) with attractive experiential activities attracted a large number of local people and tourists to participate, contributing to raising public awareness of the importance of preserving natural heritage and developing sustainable tourism.

In the coming time, Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark will continue to promote its role as an active and responsible member of the Global Geopark Network; strive to contribute more proactively and effectively to the common activities of the organization.
