Recently, the "Geopark Ambassador" Club of Quang Uyen Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School has actively implemented activities on preserving ethnic languages in schools, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of the young generation in preserving ethnic languages and local traditional cultural identity.

Language is a bridge of communication and a means of transmitting distinctive cultural values of each ethnic group. Given the gradual decline of ethnic languages among the youth, preserving and promoting ethnic languages has become an urgent task. Being aware of this reality, Quang Uyen Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School has actively integrated ethnic language preservation issues into extracurricular sessions, school weekly asembly and especially in the activities of the "Geopark Ambassador" Club. Thereby, enabling students to learn and use ethnic languages at school.
In particular, competitions on learning about the historical, cultural, geological and biodiversity values of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark in ethnic languages attracted the attention of many students. Some oustanding actvities orgaized include a quiz in the Tay, Nung and Mong ethnic languages; a contest on introducing the local cultural identity in ethnic languages with topics such as "mèn mén" (a signature dish of the Mong ethnic), the "Pay Tai" custom of the Tay ethnic (a cultural practice that presents the gratitude and filial piety, in which a daughter's family visits her parents at New Year or the mid-7th lunar month), the famous blacksmithing profession in Phuc Sen, etc.
