Summing-up and Awarding ceremony on the “Beautiful shots of non nuoc Cao Bang geopark and tourism of Cao Bang”

The competition on “Beautiful shots of non nuoc Cao Bang geopark and tourism of Cao Bang” was launched from December 22^nd 2017 and finished on July 3^rd 2018 was joined by members of the Photography Association of Cao Bang, reporters from Cao Bang Newspapers, TV, Literatures and Arts Association, Department of Information and Communication, etc. The competition was organized to promote images and distinct values of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark and tourism of Cao Bang province; to contribute to the preservation and promotion of heritage values of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Trinh Huu Khang, Vice Chairman of People’s committee highly applauded the passion of photographers, which helps to promote and advertise the beauty of landscapes and cultures of Cao Bang as well as the distinguished features of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark. 

After the closing date of the Competition, the Organizational committee received 196 pictures with different topics such as: landscape, agricultural production, handy craft, festival, etc The Judges chose 70/196 qualified pictures for exhibition, and decided to choose 14 excellent pictures to receive awards, in which there are 02 first prizes, 03 second prizes, 04 third prizes, and 05 consolation prize.

On this occasion, the Organizational committee launched the second Beautiful shots of non nuoc Cao Bang geopark and tourism of Cao Bang” 2018. The Competition is open to Vietnamese citizens. The topics of this competition focus on: advertisement and introduction of tourism of Cao Bang and values of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark; Photographers can send their pictures to the competition from August 2018 – May 30^th 2019.
