In 2024, the school board organized extracurricular activities for students including visiting the site, offering incense in remembrance of Comrade Hoang Dinh Giong, conducting experiential activites for soft skil development, and art performances, etc. After learning about the great contributions of national heroes to the revolution, students took photos and video clips (in permitted areas), wrote articles, and then edited content in both Vietnamese and English. These activities not only enhanced their knowledge but also helped them develop teamwork, communication, presentation, and technology application skills which benefit their schoolwork. These real-life experiences help educate students about the heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army, foster their patriotism, revolutionary spirit, and national pride, and get a deeper understanding of the moral principle "When drinking water, remember who dug the well”.
