Field learning trip of Youth Union members and volunteers

From November 25-27, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang Gepark conducted a field learning trip and introduction of Geopark sites for the Provincial Youth Union members and volunteers for the 8th Asia Pacific Geoparks Networks Symposium 2024.

The Youth Union members and volunteers conducted a field learning trip at Lang Mon ancient coral

The volunteers participating in this trip are Youtrh Union members from communes and wards in the City, Chinese-majored students of Cao Bang Pedagogical College.

Finding fossils at Lang Mon ancient coral site

The delegation conducted a field survey at the following sites: Ma Phuc Pass, Mountain Angel Eye, Phja Thap incense village, Pac Rang forging village, the Magic Stone, Lang Mon ancient coral, Phai Khat Post, Trang Hung Dao Forest, etc. At each geopark site, the participants were provided with information about the formation/ history of the site and experienced Geopark products.

The field learning trip was successfully organized, which helped broaden the knowledge of the Youth Union members and volunteers about the Geopark heritage values. Besides, it was also a chance for the participants to gather and exchange their experiences for better preparation for the 8th Asia Pacific Geoparks Networks Symposium 2024 in Cao Bang.
