Skills training and task orientation for English teachers supporting the revalidation mission of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark in 2025

At the training conference, participants were provided with an overview of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark and its heritage sites along the park's four experiential tourism routes. The session also highlighted key achievements and activities in the development and management of the Geopark since its first revalidation in 2022, as well as upcoming tasks for the second revalidation in 2025.
Teachers received training in welcoming and guiding visitors, including interpretation techniques at heritage sites. Additionally, they engaged in discussions and practical exercises focused on handling real-life scenarios that may arise while assisting the UNESCO revalidation expert delegation .

The participating English teachers engaged in discussions to develop reception plans and interpretive content for heritage sites within the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark. They also assigned specific roles and agreed on methods of coordination to ensure effective teamwork throughout the revalidation process.In addition, the teachers took part in practical sessions to enhance their guiding and interpretation skills, thereby improving their professional capacity to contribute effectively to the 2025 UNESCO Global Geopark revalidation mission.
Through the training workshop, the team of English teachers was equipped with essential skills in welcoming guests, interpreting, and guiding at heritage sites, thereby being well-prepared to take on the role of interpreters during the 2025 revalidation of the Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark .
