Training on Unesco Global Geopark for tour guides in Cao Bang province

The training course was organized in 3 days with the participation of 15 tour guides from the main tourists’ areas, hiking or community based tourism sites,etc. The training aimed at providing general information on scocio-economic, national and global tourism trend, policies on tourism of the Government and central Party, particularly information of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark.
 

The training course provided trainees with fundermental information of the Three experience routes of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark, especially the significances of the Geopark on landscapes, biodiversity, cultures, history, geology and the system of partners as well as the facilities in the geopark area; provided trainees with important skills of an on-site tour guide. In addition, the trainees had opportunities to practice geopark tour guide which helped them understand and obtained important information of the geoaprk so that they can be an ambassador to introduce the geoaprk to tourists.
