Various activities carried out by “Geopark ambassador” clubs in the last two months of the year

In November and December, 2022, the “Geopark ambassador” clubs of many schools in Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark carried out activities on geopark communication.

“Geopark ambassador” clubs actively cooperated with The Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization or The Youth Union of their school to organize many practical and meaningful activities such as: cleaning up the schools’ campus, conducting field experience learning trips to geosites and historical relics, traditional craft villages, organizing painting contests, etc.

Especially, “Geopark ambassador” clubs also carried out meaningful activities to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22 1944 - December 22, 2022), for example, holding ceremony offering flowers and incense at the Martyrs Cemetery in Dong Khe town, Thach An district, General Vo Nguyen Giap temple in Tran Hung Dao Forest Special National Monument, Nguyen Binh district, memorial monument for heroic martyrs in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district. In addition, the students carried cleaning up activities at the Martyrs Cemetery, memorial sites, schools’ campus, geosites, and visiting army barrack in localities.

These activities were organized to educate the young generation about the glorious revolutionary tradition of the preceding generations, communicate about the values of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark, and spread the message about environmental protection in communities.
