Workshop on start-up orientation on sustainable tourism development in the Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp territory for the youth

There were the representative leaders of Cao Bang Provincial Youth Union, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, related departments, representatives of the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp and more than 30 young delegates who are interested in sustainable tourism development, planning or have implemented projects and start-ups from tourism in Cao Bang province.

At the workshop, the participants actively discussed and shared about tourism activities with the youth’s participation and environmentally friendly green eco-agricultural tourism; environmentally and socially responsible business; community-based tourism, homestay business; preserving and promoting traditional cultures; developing tourism services. Invited delegates who are successful in tourism and service businesses in the geopark territory shared their experiences in the start-up process, thereby helping to solve difficulties and obstacles for young people on the way towards sustainable tourism in the geopark territory. The young participants also openly discussed and proposed supporting solutions and policies in the implementation of start-up businesses.
The workshop is organized with the objective to provide consultancies, guides and capacity building on sustainable tourism, investment in environmentally and socially responsible tourism for young people who want to participate in tourism and service business in the geopark territory; to build a network of young people who are running tourism and service business; and to create an experience-sharing environment for young people to learn about start-up from successful experts and entrepreneurs. It is also a forum to share and solve difficulties when starting a tourism business.
