The Workshop on Sustainable Tourism Development

This is an activity within the framework of the Smart Water Use in Agriculture project  - VIE036, sponsored by the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency and managed by  Cao Bang  of Agriculture and Rural Development Department (DARD), to support the sustainable tourism development for Cao Bang. The Workshop targeted at  introducing the 2 documents namely Sustainable tourism Development guideline and Some tour profile that connect Cao Bang with neighbouring provinces in the Northeastern region; discussed some follow-up activities to promote the application of sustainable tourism development code of conducts in Cao Bang.

The participants were informed about the potentials, strengths, weaknesses,challenges, and some orientations of torirsm sector of Cao Bang province; prsentation of key information in the  the 2 documents  such as: sustainable  tourism , essential factors for sustainable tourism development, tourism promotion, destination management, the roles of participatory tourism development, segmented potential customers, and toursim products to promote the most valuable possesstion of Cao Bang.

Participants discussed and provided their feedback to the two docments.

After the presentation, particpants discussed about the follow-up activites that related stakeholders need to implement so as to apply feasible activities in the documents and sample tours in Cao Bang province.
