At the workshop, the teachers were presented the following information: the establishment, development and communication of UNESCO global geopark brand; sustainable tourism development; the operation and management of “geopark ambassador club”; experience in the implementation of the club model at 6 piloted schools in Cao Bang city in 2020. The participants also practiced on planning activities on the geopark communication and “geopark ambassador club” at their schools as well as generated the very first preparation for “Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp ambassador contest”.
The workshop contributed to the implementation of the geopark communication in schools through the replication of “geopark ambassador club” to schools in Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp territory; and improved teachers and students’ awareness about the development of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp label.
