Surveyed heritage sites on this route include Ma Phuc Pass, Mountain Angel Eye, Phja Thap incense village, Dia Tren paper-making village, Pac Rang forging village, the Magic Stone, traditional wooden wheel, Khuoi Ky stone village, Nguom Ngao cave, Ban Gioc waterfall and Geopark Info center near Nguom Ngao cave.
On the survey, the evaluators will also assess the management, protection and use of the infrastructure system on the route including new check-in panels, direction panels, information panels, parking lots, etc, environmental sanitation, geoheritage and landscape protection, conservation and promotion of traditional cultures; bilingual interpretation at geosites... Observations from the field survey will play as the basis for UNESCO evaluators to come up with recommendations on the development of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark in the future.
In the next 03 days, August 15-17, the UNESCO evaluators will continue to carry out a field survey on the north route "Experience History and Freedom" in two districts of Hoa An and Ha Quang and the west route "Experience Phja Oac- The mountain of transformations” in Nguyen Binh district.
