Supervision Coordination Committee for tourism development of the Tay ethnic cultural village in Khuoi Ky hamlet (Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district) promotes its role in ensuring environmental hygiene.

At the meeting, the Supervision Coorordination Commitee reported the activities and results gained after the Committee was consoliated at the beginning of 2024. Initially, the households running homestay business agreed to spend part of their earning  from each customer donating to the community fund of the village. The Committee assigned a household in difficult circumstances in the village to collect trash, do the cleanup in the village and the household gets paid a regular wage for that. In the comming time, the Coordination Committee will actively speed up the submission of the Oprational Regulations of the Committee to the People's Committee of Dam Thuy Commune for promulgation and develop tourist services for increasing income. In the coming time, the Geopark Management Board will continue to give advice on and support the Coordination Committee and the people of Khuoi Ky stone village in implementing activities on benefit sharing among community, drawing diagram of the homestays in the village and conduct experience exchange tours on community-based tourism development for the villagers.
