Consulting meeting to support the Preparatory Committee for the Establishment of a Participatory Cooperative in Ban Danh - Lung Tao

On February 22, Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board organized a consulting meeting with the Preparatory Committee for the establishment of a Cooperation with the participation of local people in Ban Danh - Lung Tao hamlet, Quoc Toan commune (Quang Hoa) on harnessing and promoting tourist services at Mountain Angel Eye to bring benefits to the people.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Luc Van Chuc, Chairman of Quoc Toan Commune People's Committee, members of the Preparatory Committee for the cooperative with the participation of Ban Danh -  Lung Tao hamlet’s people and some households providing mortorbike taxi services for tourists. 

At the meeting, the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark reported the situation after its establishment, proposed to the Commune People's Committee and Geopark Management Board for support to operate in a regulated form and bring benefits to people. Currently, the motorbike taxi team has begun coordinating activities to pick up and drop off clients, contributing to providing orders during the Lunar New Year...

The Geopark Management Board discussed and advised people on the implementation of parking lot selection and parking lot exploitation with the participation of the Preparation Committee to share benefits. In addition, we aim to develop services such as costume rental, refreshments... After agreeing on the implementation content, the members participating in the meeting went on a field trip together and agreed on the choice of parking location proposed by residents.

In the coming time, the Geopark Management Board will continue to deploy out-of-province visits and study activities for residents to gain more experience in developing community tourism activities and services that bring benefits to people to achieve the goal of sustainable tourism development and environmental protection.
