Annual sum-up meeting of the Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Partner Network

Up to now, the Geopark Partner Network has 45 official members who have been actively participated in activities related to benefit sharing in the community, cooperation and experience sharing in conducting business in tourism, improving livelihood for local people in associated with managing and conrserving heritage, culture, biodiversity and environment for sustainable tourism development. 

At the meeting, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark presented the sum-up report of the Gepark Partner Network in 2023 and discussed the activity plan for the year 2024. The Gepark Partners spent time discussing and proposed practical inputs for the activity plan 2024, which focuses on the following issues: the environmental protection, eco-friendly algriculture practices, development of local signature products, tourism development in association with preserving and harnessing traditional culture, improvement of tourist service quality, support and collaboration among the Gepark Partners, promotion of Geopark products, generating regulations on the management of geosites which clarifies responsibilities of relevant authorities and agents, etc. 

This meeting is a pratical activity to enhance the participation of the Gepark partners and local community in the development of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark. The meeting is also a chance for the Geopark partners to gather, connect ans share experiences to strengthen their relationship and for tourism development.  
In 2024, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark will continues strengthening and developing the Geopark Partner Network, increasing the connection with local people and tourism services providers outside the province, fostering exchanges, experience sharing and increasing capacity on manageing and developing tourism and services. Thereby, contributing to stimulating sustainable tourism and harnessing the values of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark UNESCO Global Geopark.
