“Geopark ambassador” club of Thach An Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School conducted a field learning trip to Dong Khe Post

On December 11th, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22nd, 1944-December 22nd,2023), The "Geopark Ambassador" club of Thach An ethnic minority boarding secondary school offered incense to martyrs at the martyr cemetery in Dong Khe town, visited and learned about Dong Khe post (Thach An District).

The club carried out cleanup activity at the Dong Khe Post relic
During the extra-curricular session, the members of the “Geopark ambassador” club offered flowers and incense to pay tribute and profound gratitude to seniors of Vietnam revolution and heroic martyrs. The students also carried our cleanup at the Martyrs Cemetery and Dong Khe Post relic. At the same time, the club members leaned about the Dong Khe Post relic through the Geopark Information panel and the teachers’ guidance. The activities got active response of the students.

The field trip helps the club members gain more knowledge about the geosites; thereby, each of them will be an active communicator to expand the Geopark values to their friends, their school, family and community. As a result, educating students about the pride of hometown and heroic revolutionary tradition, encouraging them to study, broaden their knowledge, improve moral qualities to follow the predecessor generations contributing to the development of Cao Bang, the cradle of Vietnam revolution.
