Pac Bo Festival 2025

Pac Bo Festival is organized annually by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province and the People's Committee of Ha Quang district to build and promote the image of an impressive destination with its own unique characteristics, linking culture with revolutionary historical tourism products. This is an opportunity to educate generations about the historical roots, foster patriotism, national pride, raise awareness of political ideology, and at the same time pay tribute to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and national heroes in the cause of national liberation.

This year's Pac Bo Festival features many traditional cultural and sports activities. The festival is divided into two parts: the ceremony and the festival. The ceremony includes: the Pac Bo headwater water fetching ceremony and the water procession; the incense offering and water offering ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Temple. The festival includes activities: The 63rd Provincial Cross Country Race in 2025 "Returning to the Pac Bo Source"; 21 booths from communes and towns in the area, displaying tourism and cultural products with artifacts, images, musical instruments, traditional costumes of ethnic groups in Ha Quang district; folk singing contest - ethnic costume performance with the theme "Ha Quang in me"; Cao Bang Mountains and Rivers photo exhibition, thematic exhibition of the 1950 Border Campaign - A Time of Fire and Flowers; sports activities, folk games: weeding, crossbow shooting, stilt walking and throwing con; Spring Cow Competition; organizing a mobile library vehicle at the Festival; Cultural program to serve the people and tourists...
