The Youth Union works of the “Geopark Ambassador” club of Thach An High School on communicating about Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark

The works of “QR code scanning locations for geosites of the 4^th Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark tourism route – Times of Fire Flowers” was carried out in 4 months at 6 geosites including Dong Khe Post, Bao Dong peak, Ancient Submarine Volcano, Van Trinh Forest, Ancient Ocean and Black Jelly production establishment.

The project is a QR code-based information system, tourists can use their smartphone’s scanner to access to the information and image data of the geosites, relics and tourist attractions. The information is presented vividly and easy to understand in English and Vietnamese to meet the requirements for information of domestics and foreign visitors. The project is implemented by the “Geopark ambassador” club of Thach An High School.

This project aims to contribute to the innovation and diversification of methods to educate the young generation and people about the revolutionary tradition of Cao Bang and the Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark, promote local scenic spots, cultural and historical relics and to implement the Master Plan on tourism development in Cao Bang Province in general and in Thach An District in particular.
Simultaneously, to simplify the provision of destination information and geosites to the Youth, local people and tourists based on application of information technology at geosites, contributing to raising awareness of the Youth and people about the role and importance of information technology and digital transformation nowadays.
