Survey activities to improve the quality of tourism services for partners and people in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark area

In order to improve the quality of tourism services in the Geopark area, from December 12 to 15, 2024, the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board coordinated with the People's Committees of Phuc Sen, Tu Do, Quoc Toan (Quang Hoa) and Quang Thanh (Nguyen Binh) communes to organize a field survey of heritage sites in 4 Geopark tourism routes for partner members, representatives of village and hamlet authorities and people providing tourism services and tourist destinations in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark area.

During the program, the delegation surveyed heritage sites, information centers, and partner facilities on 4 sightseeing routes of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark: Nguom Slua cave, Nguom Boc cave (Hoa An); Pac Bo special national relic site (Ha Quang); Tran Hung Dao forest special national relic site, Duc Tuyet Hotel - Restaurant, Red House Villa, Kolia Tea Plantation (Nguyen Binh); Nasan Green Farm homestay (Trung Khanh); Dia Tren paper village, Phja Thap incense village, Pac Rang blacksmith village (Quang Hoa)...

At each destination, the delegation was introduced to the process of forming heritage sites and experienced typical products in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark. In addition, the delegation had the opportunity to meet, exchange and learn from partners on developing tourism services in a sustainable, fair, and community-beneficial way, and preserving and promoting traditional cultural values ​​of the nation: architectural arrangement, space design, creating green, clean and beautiful landscapes at tourist sites; diversifying tourism products, improving service style, enhancing experience value to meet tourists' needs...

The survey delegation visited the Tran Hung Dao Forest Special National Monument (Nguyen Binh).

At the same time, they learnt about how to organize, manage, and operate management board and cooperative models in traditional craft villages and community tourism villages. From there, they learnt creative and effective tourism methods that are suitable to local conditions.

The field survey program aims to equip knowledge and provide information about geological heritage sites on 4 experience routes of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark; create conditions for partners and people to participate in practical experiences, learn from experiences, and improve the quality of tourism services and tourist destinations. At the same time, promote connections between service businesses and traditional craft villages in the area, contributing to effectively exploiting the potential and strengths of each locality, creating highlights to attract tourists and improve income for local people. Thereby raising the sense of responsibility for the work of preserving, maintaining and promoting heritage values ​​associated with the goal of sustainable tourism development in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark.
