Field survey to support community tourism mapping in the eastern route of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark

In the program, the delegation conducted field surveys at heritage sites: Dia Tren paper village, Phuc Sen commune (Quang Hoa); Phja Thap incense village, Phuc Sen commune (Quang Hoa).

At each destination, the delegation was introduced to the formation of heritage sites and conducted surveys of craft villages, collected documents, and identified locations and locations. Based on observations and participation in activities experiencing the stages of traditional handicraft production, students collected information, recorded and drew their own images and feelings to include on the tourist map for visitors.

Through the field survey, the Center for Training, Sports and Arts Competition and the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board strengthened coordination in improving the effectiveness of promoting and developing the craft village heritage sites in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark. At the same time, creating opportunities for students to improve their soft skills, develop their interests and strengths. Thereby, equipping the younger generation with knowledge and information about geological and cultural heritage sites, tourist routes in the province as well as raising awareness about the use, rational exploitation, and protection of geological, biological, cultural, and environmental resources in the locality.

In the coming time, the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark and the Center for Training, Sports and Arts Competition will continue to strengthen coordination, create conditions for students to develop their talents, join hands in activities to support the promotion and dissemination of the message of protecting and promoting the heritage value of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark to the community and tourists. Thereby ensuring the criteria and recommendations of UNESCO experts on heritage conservation, environmental protection, and sustainable tourism development in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark area.
