The delegation surveyed at the locations: Kolia eco-tourism area (Nguyen Binh); Dia Tren paper village (Quang Hoa); Khuoi Ky stone village heritage site (Trung Khanh) and visiting the “Geopark Ambassador Club” model at Cao Bang Provincial High School for Ethnic Minorities (City). At the survey sites, the delegation met with partners to exchange and learn experiences on preserving and promoting cultural values associated with the goal of sustainable tourism development; the establishment, management and operation of Management Board and Cooperative models in traditional craft villages, community tourism villages and how to share benefits in the community tourism model.
On the business trip, representatives of specialized departments of two provinces exchanged experiences on preserving, exploiting, and promoting cultural heritage values associated with tourism development in traditional craft villages and community tourism villages in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark area. At the same time, two sides also exchanged experiences related to exploiting activities in the Geopark area that meet the criteria of the UNESCO Global Geopark.
