Attending the meeting were Mr. Sam Viet An, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang, Director of the Project Management Board and investor; leaders of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board, Provincial Museum and consulting, design and construction units of Cao Bang Provincial Museum.
At the meeting, members discussed the Geopark display content, including a detailed display outline according to the construction interior design, and considered the artifacts display contents, funding source, estimated funding, collection implementation time, and implementation unit. Regarding the museum display content, agreed on how to implement the problematic contents such as the copyright to display Fomex paintings, Panorama paintings, and other contents that need to be presented to the appraisal council, display of artifacts in wall spaces,... in addition, the meeting also agreed to resolve the remaining contents regarding the display of Mr. Hoang Dinh Giong’s house.
After the members discussed and agreed, Mr. Sam Viet An concluded: For the Geopark display content, it is necessary to hire a specialized unit to develop a content outline, collect and display geological samples, and with the Provincial Museum section clarifying the system of available artifacts, newly collected or restored… The Project Management Board coordinated with the Geopark Management Board and the Provincial Museum to complete the outline list of artifacts and the overall budget for displaying the content, and on that basis, report and propose to the Provincial People’s Committee for implementation policy. He emphasized the need to prioritize accelerating the completion of the Geopark content before September to ensure time to serve the 8th Asia Pacific Geopark Network Symposium in Cao Bang.
