Consultation and support on heritage conservation associated with livelihood development for residents

Working at Phja Thap incense village, Phuc Sen commune, the Management Board has provided samples and guided residents to make sample incense products so that tourists can buy gifts such as improving design and quality into incense for relaxation, air purification, insect repellent… Dealing with choosing a location for experience and check-in space for tourists. At Dia Tren paper village, Phuc Sen commune, the Management Board agreed with village leaders to deploy parking lot exploitation activities to raise funds for environment and landscape improvement, connect and ensure orders for the Zo Project, build self-checkout product shelves, find solutions for the lack of May Sla tree materials.  

The Geopark Management Board has also coordinated with the People's Committees of communes to support and promote the operation of people's benefit sharing models. At the meeting with the leaders of the People's Committee of Quoc Toan commune and the Preparing Board for cooperative model activities in Ban Danh - Lung Tao, they agreed on the building operating regulations contents and mobilizing people to participate, also establish cooperative groups such as motorbike & taxi groups, horse riding, costume rental, homestay... and assign specific tasks to members of the preparation board. Specially, the People's Committees of commune guides people to carry out procedures to operation the parking lot to serve visitors and the commune implements landscape improvement activities on the road leading to the Magic Eye Mountain scenic spot in Quang Hoa. For the Coordinating Board, for supervising the development of Tay cultural village tourism in Khuoi Ky Hamlet, in the coming time, it will implement a rural culinary market space at cultural and art events held in the hamlet, and exploit toilets... to increase revenue for the community fund and increase income for households in difficult circumstances, coordinate with the Geopark Management Board to design a diagram of Khuoi Ky stone village...

Since the beginning of 2024, the Geopark Management Board has also organized training classes to advise people on implementing sustainable tourism development activities and in April 2024 also organized for potential partners, people went to learn from experience in Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces.
