2024 Asia Pacific Geopark Network (APGN) Geopark Development Forum

Attending the forum were Professor Ibrahim KOMOO - Vice Chairman, Executive Board of the Geopark Network, and more than 30 representatives from Geoparks in the Asia Pacific Region.

At the forum, representatives of the Executive Board of the Geopark Network, non-governmental organizations, and representatives of Hong Kong Geopark partners participated in presentations about support from the government, non-governmental organizations, and businesses contributing to the development of Geopark. Within the forum framework, the representative of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board introduced to delegates the 8th Asia Pacific Geoparks Network Symposium to be held in Cao Bang province, Vietnam in September 2024.

The 2024 APGN Geopark Development Forum in Hong Kong, China will take place from May 13 to May 18, 2024, including thematic report sessions and field survey programs at the Hong Kong Geopark.
