Actively deploy learning experiences on craft village conservation associated with sustainable tourism development

From April 15 to April 18, the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board deployed activities to learn experience on the preservation of traditional craft villages associated with sustainable tourism and community tourism development for nearly 50 Geopark partner representatives and people living at Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark heritage sites in Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces.

At experiential learning destinations, representatives of Geopark partners and residents can exchange and share experiences with the Management Board of community tourism villages on preserving and promoting cultural values ​​associated with sustainable tourism development goals; learning about implementing community benefit-sharing activities, dealing with and protecting traditional cultural spaces; propaganda and promotion of tourism locally; environmental protection work and waste treatment; skills to welcome tourists; share experiences on diversifying traditional handicraft products to contribute to improving the livelihoods of local people...


The trip aims to create opportunities for Geopark partner members, craft villages, community tourism villages, and people living in the heritage site area to survey, learn, and exchange experiences in preserving cultural heritage values ​​associated with developing various types of tourism services in the community. At the same time, learn how to introduce, promote, and connect traditional handicraft products and souvenirs to serve tourists.
