Cao Bang Non Nuoc Geopark Management Board works with people and craft village partners on the eastern route of Cao Bang Non Nuoc Geopark

Working with the People's Committee of Quoc Toan Commune, the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark assessed the coordination in managing and promoting the National Scenic Heritage Site Moutain God’s Eye. The systematic planning and management of the heritage site will contribute to enhancing tourism attraction while ensuring harmony between economic development and conservation of natural resources, preserving indigenous cultural identity.

At Dia Tren tradditonal paper village, Phja Thap incense village, Phuc Sen commune (Quang Hoa), the working group inspected and evaluated the activities of partner establishments; consulted and proposed solutions to improve the efficiency of tourism exploitation at heritage sites: promoting display corners, check-in corners, arranging display cabinets to introduce and sell traditional products; improving packaging, enhancing product quality and enhancing brand recognition through attaching the Geopark logo. In addition, the group conducted surveys and proposed the construction of community support projects of the Geopark Partner Network.

Surveying Lung Ri Tile Village, Tu Do Commune (Quang Hoa), the working group assessed the potential for tourism exploitation and proposed a plan to connect the craft village to the heritage site system on the eastern experience route of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark. Thereby, creating more attractive destinations for tourists while contributing to preserving and promoting the value of traditional craft villages.

Monitoring and evaluating the results of preserving traditional craft villages in association with tourism development not only demonstrates the commitment to preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage but also opens up many opportunities to promote sustainable tourism development. This result contributes to the preparation for the reception and work with UNESCO experts to re-evaluate the title of Global Geopark for the second time in 2025.

In the coming time, the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark will continue to coordinate with the People's Committees of Phuc Sen and Quoc Toan communes (Quang Hoa), and the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Partnership Network to implement activities to support people to participate in the protection and promotion of heritage sites, improve livelihoods and share community benefits, contributing to the preservation and dissemination of unique cultural values ​​of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark.
