Training workshop on capacity building for teachers in charge of “Geopark ambassador clubs”

At the workshop, the teachers were introduced about UNESCO Global Geopark label, Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geoparks, the general values of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark, guided the implementation of Geopark ambassador club at schools, developing activity plans on geopark education via “Geopark ambassador club” model; the teachers also spent time practicing developing activity plans on geopark education and communication, discussing and exchanging the ways to deploying the club model in schools.

After the training workshop, the “Geopark ambassador club” of each school will develop their plans on field surveys at geosites and geopark education and communication activities at schools.
 

Thanks to the workshop, the teacher had a chance to gather and exchange their experiences, thereby, gaining more knowledge to guide their students to effectively carry out geopark educational and communicational activities.
